Ketchikan is situated on Revillagigedo Island, at the southern end of Alaska's Inside Passage. The area is home to many scenic parks, part of the Tongass National [Rain]Forest, clusters of totem poles, a huge variety of wildlife, as well as our northern hemisphere home.  The Canadian side of the island affords spectaular views of Misty Fjords National Monument; accessible only by boat or small aircraft.  Click "A Trip Around Revillagigedo Island" picture below (area under construction; photos still being loaded).
